Numerical study on the performance of adsorption refrigeration system with finned bed structure paired with MOFs/water as working fluid

In this paper, A single-bed finned tube adsorption refrigeration system model was established to compare the characteristics of three metal organic framework materials(MIL-101(Cr), MIL-101(Cr)/CaCl2-10%, MIL-101(Cr)/ CaCl2-20%).The change material properties under different thickness/length/number fins characterized, and most suitable bed structure for materials obtained.Theresults show that number haslittle effect on Coefficiency Performanceand Specific cooling powerof in system. Choosing thinner can improve performance coefficient system.With increase fin height, Performanceshowed a trend increasingfirstand then decreasing. The (MIL-101(Cr), MIL-101(Cr)/CaCl2-20%) obtained highest Performancewhen heights were 50mm, 60mm, 70mm, respectively. maximum powerwas when 20mm, which 21.7W/kg, 90.1W/kg, 174.5W/kg, height has great influence When designing bed, appropriate should be selected specific adsorbent.
